We're All So Serious

When you’re getting your photo taken professionally, why do they always want to do one “serious” shot when you’re not allowed to smile? Is it so you can realize the potential for yourself to look like an ass? Or, even worse, what if the serious shot is your best picture? This is probably something to be concerned about. It means you fit in better in a lineup to be id’ed for murder than you do at the prom, and that’s just never a good thing.
