This guy is pretty remarkable. Known simply as jet man, he’s the first guy to build and use a jet pack. Although there are some limitations to his device, for example he must be dropped from an airplane to take off, he is able to fly on his own power (gas power that is) with speeds over 200mph. Another surprising addition to his jet pack is steering; besides the throttle there are no other controls, he uses his own body motions to steer, ascend, and fall with the jet pack.
