I have to say a few of my guilty movie pleasures are the ones that show up in this list for the
80's Movie Montage Hall of Fame. Any list that includes Sylvester Stallone movies not once, not twice, but thrice; the underrated comedy classic Back to School starring Rodney Dangerfield who is in top form; and Ralph Macchio as the one and only Karate Kid; well I have to say this list is a winner. Bonus points for appearances from Teen Wolf and Footloose.
(I also never thought that I would ever, ever, ever type a sentence that included both Rodney Dangerfield and Sly Stallone. I could see Ralph Macchio and Sly in the same sentence simply because they are in two movies that are similar in nature for being underdogs and going the distance. But Rodney, he’s a comedic genius, not necessarily a man who assumes an underdog role. Nevertheless, there is a first time for everything).
