Everything is clicking for the Phils as they roll through the Nats once more. Utley went 5 for 5 to bring up that batting average to close to .300, Howard and J-Roll both rocked a homer (J-Roll still leads the NL with 8), and Rowand's hitting streak continued. In other words, another wonderful outing for our Philadelphia Phillies, now 2 games out from .500.
Some fun links:
1. Helms is feeling good about adjusting to the hot corner.
2. Smith is out of the bullpen, and Fabio Castro got the call up.
3. Over at Driven to Deep Center, Skeeter has some awesome pics of last night's game.
Cole Hamels, the man who started this hot streak, takes the mound today. Sweeping the Nats would be huge for this ballclub, as we all know. If the Phillies manage to come out of April with a winning record after a 4-11 start, we can expect big things the rest of the year. Keep up the good work, boys!
