Quick Stains: Phillies Phodder for June 28th

Plumpy's Ghost has one night without tears, as the Phils fall to the Reds, disappointingly. Not much to report. Rain delays are terrible.

Howard sets two records last night. The first is the longest homerun at Citizen's Bankpark with a 505 ft. bomb. The second is the fastest player to reach 100 HRs in MLB history, breaking Kiner's record. Kudos to Howard.

Too bad that Moyer, who had a no hit bad through most of this game, couldn't finsih the job, although like most losses, the blame is not his, but rather that of the Phillies' bullpen. What could Gillick even trade to get us help? Not much, is the unfortunate answer.

I'll be at the game tonight, praying the skies are kind to me, and that the Phillies are, as well.
