The BPAS as applied to things that are actually important
As frequently as we apply the BPAS to baseball, dating, holding out for 10 more seconds during a keg stand, and of course getting through another day at work, we sometimes forget that people are pushing down hard on the BPAS to do truly heroic acts. Such individuals are showered with awards expressing humanity's appreciation for their efforts. Currently 5 people have laid claim to the impressive trifecta of the Congressional Gold Medal, Nobel Peace Prize and Presidential Medal of Freedom. The first 4 holders of the trifecta are undoubtedly well known to our reader, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Elie Wiesel and Nelson Mandela, and most (excluding Christopher Hitchens) believe they are deserving of every line of praise written about them. However, I'd like to challenge our reader to come up with the 5th name. If you can pull that one off, dearest reader, I will be hugely impressed. If you can't come up with it. Click the link and find out. Like me, I bet you'll be wondering how you never heard of this guy before.
