It's "disconnection" you jerks

The verb is "to disconnect" the noun is "disconnection." I hear people say things all the time like "there's a real disconnect between the representative and his constituents." Now, you wouldn't go on a great date and say to the person, "I feel a real connect with you," would you? No, you wouldn't, because you would sound like an idiot. But for some reason it's become reasonable to cut off the suffix of disconnection. For me whenever i hear someone use it improperly i feel a real disconnect between me and them. See how awful that is? I'm bringing back disconnection. And for anyone who hadn't noticed people saying disconnect, I hope this makes it stick out to you forever, and you come to hate it like i do.
