Worthy of Poetry

Tonight in my poetry seminar a girl handed in 20 lines in blank verse entitled "Hands of a Hero," that was all about a friend of hers who fought in Iraq and then came home and continued his heroism towards people around him, including an old man who'd had a car accident. Clearly no day goes by without at least one reminder that we are in Iraq and the soldiers we have there are heroes by and large.
