What comes up in conversation

A girl in my class today mentioned in passing that her friend is shipping out this week for his third tour of duty in Iraq. Apparently there was a chance that he would be finished after the first two, but no such luck. So my classmate loses her best friend for months, and has to pray that it isn't forever. And in other news, the only mention of terrorism in any of my classes was an article from the 50's that accused the Hell's Angels of terrorizing small towns. I don't have any classmates who are losing friends to the Hell's Angels, or even to al Qaeda for that matter. Just saying...
