Torture is Bad

Continuing my series of obvious statements (like Guns are Powerful), I feel compelled to point out that torture is bad. Not just for the people who are tortured but for those who sympathize with the tortured, and not just for the torturers but for those in whose name the torture is being carried out. The fact that I fit into that last category is a very sad thing. Go read Andrew Sullivan about torture and I think you'll come to the same conclusion that I did: torture is bad.
