Bush Replaced Himself...

...appointing a "War Czar." Maybe that's the best way for him to support the troops. Here's some analysis of the new position, and analysis of the significance of the fact that Bush had to sink to asking 3-star generals to do it, since the 4-star ones rightly refused. Apparently the guy was pretty much ordered to take the job.
