A Confluence of Stains
The story of Genarlow Wilson involves the meeting of many topics here at the Stain Club. Its the story of a promising football player who got stained out hard by a rigid outdated Georgia justice system. Today, however, the Georgia Court of Appeals took a big step towards helping Genarlow quit prison for strength and hopefully pick up where he left off. I'll address this more as it plays out because the case isn't over yet, and it's only one part of a larger and much-needed reform of outdated criminal statutes. If you'd like to read the larger summary of the case check here.
