Quick Stains: June 5th

Phills lost yesterday in a blowout. Ugh.

1. Phils now have the worst pitching staff in the NL.

2. All sorts of information about different Phils stuff here, although the primary focus is on batting Rowand fifth instead of Burrell.

3. They're televising the baseball draft. The time for comedy and mockery is now.

4. Phils are making calls about Jose Mesa, a sure sign that things are indeed looking glum.

5. And now the Phillies take on the Mets, the best team in the NL East, who are 3-1 against them. Both series against the NL West teams were disappointing, and now it's time to face an even better team.

6. Is there any rhyme or reason to when Charlie plays the following people: Dobbs, Nunez, Helms, Werth? I'm not saying any of them are bad players, I just never know which of them is starting, and if there is any logic behind it. I do strongly disagree with playing Werth over Victorino, though.
