Future Weapons
I don't know how large an audience that show FutureWeapons on Discovery has, but they keep showing me crazy shit like an amphibious tank. Now, our soldiers are being killed in Iraq with old ass guns and rigged up chlorine gas canisters. I know the Army and defense companies need to research new technology, but don't they know that the days of the pitched battle between two large powers went out the window with the atomic bomb? Guerilla warfare grew by necessity, and there's no place anymore for a billion dollar weapon that can be wrecked by an ambush or jerry-rigged mines. All I'm saying is we're fighting them completely on their terms, and some people are still pretending like we get to dictate the rules of the game.
