Robots In War

Check out this article about the use of robots in all sorts of different capacities in this war. It's incredibly interesting to see how the human soldiers interact with these robots, going as far as to award them medals. One man ended a test of a mine-sweeping robot that was designed to get its legs blown off because he couldn't handle the cruelty of watching it drag itself onward with its one remaining leg.

And here's a sweet video, just to drive home truly how advanced these things are. He's called BigDog, and he's a mechanical packmule that you can kick and he won't fall over. (No word on why the thing makes that crazy noise.)
